Our client is the global leader in the provision of food ingredients & flavours to the food and beverage sector. The initial brief to Alternatives Elect was to find a Strategic Marketing Director for their EMEA HQ in Ireland.
This successful hire would play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the B2B marketing strategy for a significant business unit covering EMEA.
Working in close partnership with our executive research company in Europe, we conducted an exhaustive search for suitable candidates with the specific sectoral experience required for the role. This was augmented by equally thorough research conducted by the local team based here in Ireland.
The preferred candidate was a French national based in Singapore. Following a number of trips to Ireland to attend interview, she was hired by the client in AsiaPac in a new role for the region.
While the European Division ‘lost out’ on this particular hire, it was deemed a hugely successful coup for the Global Division to hire a candidate of such high calibre – albeit that they were retained in AsiaPac.
